Through our Stress Management Program, we can provide you with healthier ways to cope with stress, thus helping reduce its harmful effects and preventing stress from spiraling out of control again in the future.

Stress Management involves changing the stressful situation when you can't change your reaction; when you're unable to take proper care of yourself. It is important to allocate sufficient time for rest and relaxation.

The first step is to recognize the true sources of stress in your life!

Stress is omnipresent and seems to affect nearly everyone irrespective of age, gender or occupation. It not only affects the emotional and mental well-being of a person but also affects their Physical Health. There are many Lifestyle Diseases attributed to stress.

We understand the importance for the need of stress management.

We conduct regular workshops and stress management programs for our customers.

Diabetes Management

Keeping your blood sugar levels within the recommended range can be challenging. That's because many things make your Blood Sugar levels change, sometimes unexpectedly.

Diabetes Mellitus is the most prominent disease related to failure of blood sugar regulation.

Blood Sugar refers to the amount of glucose present in the blood. Failure to maintain blood glucose in the normal range leads to conditions of persistently high (Hyperglycemia) or low (Hypoglycemia) blood sugar.

Diabetes is caused by the absolute or relative lack of insulin, the hormone necessary for the absorption and assimilation of sugar by the body. If left unchecked, it can lead to a number of serious health problems including blindness, kidney failure, stroke and heart disease.

There are many factors which increase the risk of developing diabetes like age, weight, family history, abnormal cholesterol and triglycerides levels, environmental and dietary factors etc.

Our Diabetes Management Program focuses on the preventive aspects of these risks.

The Diabetes Management Program is for you if:

  • Diabetes runs in your family
  • You have Hypertension
  • You have impaired Glucose Tolerance
  • You have High Cholesterol
  • You are a woman and have had Gestational Diabetes while you were pregnant

Obesity Management

If a person's body weight is at least 20% higher than it should be, he or she is considered Obese. Essentially if your Body Mass Index (BMI) is between 25 and 29.9, you are considered Overweight. If your BMI is 30 or over you are considered Obese.

People who are Obese are often discouraged because they think they need to lose a lot of weight before any benefits are experienced. This is not true!

Any Obese person who loses just five to ten per cent of their body weight will experience significant improvements in Health - this would mean a weight loss of 5-10 Kgs for an individual who weighs 100 Kilograms.

It is important for patients to realize that a small drop in weight is a good start and a great achievement. Experts have found that obese people who lose weight slowly and constantly, say one or two pounds each week, are more successful in keeping their weight down when they have reached their target weight.

The Health Effects of being Overweight and Obesity

  • Coronary Heart Disease
  • Stroke
  • Gallbladder Disease
  • Osteoarthritis (a breakdown of cartilage and bone within a joint)
  • High LDL Cholesterol, Low HDL Cholesterol or high levels of Triglycerides
  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Breast, Colon, Kidney, Gallbladder, and Liver Complications
  • Low quality of Life

Globally, Obesity has become a serious public health issue. Both these factors increase the risk of developing many chronic illnesses such as Cardiac Diseases and Diabetes.

Adopting a Healthy Lifestyle to achieve meaningful weight loss can significantly reduce the risk of developing these diseases.
